Cooking shows have been all the rage in the aughts.

An for good reason – with cheap production costs, the ever-expanding number of cable and streaming services offering (and needing) original content continues to grow, and cheaply made “reality” programming fits the bill (and more importantly, the budget).

Enter Stove Tots, an FYI foray into the kitchen that puts youngsters in charge of the hot plates.

The new culinary competition premieres Monday, Nov. 6 on FYI.

Just don’t eat the kids.
