Wait. So…you can somehow get nominated—even though you don’t deserve it—and then show up at the ceremony and deliberately make an ass of yourself for 3 hours to specifically draw attention away from the people who deserve it, to then literally manhandle your director in a most humiliating, embarrassing fashion…only to then later scream and cry that you were physically assaulted? With absolutely no sense of shame? Or irony? Thank god for the escape of vintage television in this age of the media-created Grotesque.
