Goofy-ass humor abounds in Vice Principals, HBO’s newest comedy from Eastbound and Down creators Danny McBride and Jody Hill.
Judging from the below teasers, if you liked that earlier program’s brand of humor you’ll like enjoy Vice Principals.
McBride and Walton Goggins star as high school vice principals competing after the principal announces his retirement.
Bill Murray makes a cameo as the retiring principal at the school. Other stars include Busy Philipps and Shea Whigham.

According to reports, the show is scheduled to run 18 episodes across two seasons and then come to an end — an interesting plan for a comedy, but not surprising considering the recent “limited series” trend.
