‘The Guest Book’ on TBS: A newer, raunchier ‘Hotel’?

With anthology series all the rage lately, it’s fitting to see someone throwing it back to the Hotels and Love Boats of old.

From the creator of My Name is Earl comes the comedy anthology The Guest Book, slated to premiere August 3 on TBS. (You’ll recognize some of Earl‘s cast in the trailer below.)

The show’s setting is a vacation home in the mountains, and much like those ’70s and ’80s shows mentioned above, it will host different guests in each episode.

The Guest Book was picked up for 10 episodes by the “superstation” cable net.

Two new episodes will air back-to-back on August 3, 2017 at 10 p.m.
